I have some questions about
independent immigration.
Question1:
May I know if Canadian approve
the application for permanent
residency if the applicant has
hepatitus B?
Answer1:
The medical exam will cover
the test results of Hepatitus
B. The applicant will be refused
if the medical conditions are
those that will harm the public
health in Canada.
Question2:
During the interview in Singapore,
I was asked to take an Engineering
examination. May I know if this
is compulsory?
Answer2:
If you want to practice as an
engineer in Canada, you must
complete the registration procedures
(including tests and local supervised
work experience, etc.) of that
province where you live in Canada.
Question3:
My wife just gave birth to our
first child, the Canadian office
mail us to send the child's
particulars and $100 money order
within the first two months
of baby born. I want to confirm
whether Canadian government
has possibility on approving
my health report (hepatitus
B) before I decide whether to
proceed on the application.
Answer3:
This is not determined by the
immigration officer, but the
medical officer. You'd better
follow the instructions from
the Canadian Consulate.
