Q1: I read from one of your
postings that if the common-law
partner has post-secondary education,
points can be added to the applicant.
But what is the definition of
"common-law partner"?
A1: You and your partner live
together and has been maintaining
a stable relationship like a
family (husband and wife) although
you are not legally married.
Q2: In my case, my fiancee
and I are not living together
because of the distant work
locations. But we are going
to have a joint saving account
together very soon. Are we considered
as "common-law partner"?
A2: No.
